Euterpe Oleracea (Acai) Sterols Description

One of the star compounds of this ingredient is beta-sitosterol, a phytosterol that helps hydrate skin, reduce trans-epidermal water loss and soothe. Research also demonstrates that beta-sitosterol can assist in skin healing.
(acai) sterols as safe for use in cosmetics at current usage levels, but do not detail the current concentration levels of use. Despite this, the general recommendation if these sterols are one of the “stars” of a formula is 1–5% use level; not the star but instead just there to support? Then the use levels hover between 0.1–0.5%.
