Edelweiss is a plant extract whose constituents are capable of providing antioxidant and skin-soothing benefit for skin. Edelweiss contains lignans, one of the constituents that have a natural skin-calming benefit. Edelweiss also contains a compound known as leontopodic acid, which research has shown strengthens skin’s barrier and helps reduce signs of sensitivity.
